Family Contact Sessions

A safe, welcoming space for family time.

We offer supervised family contact sessions at various locations both in-house and within the local community, designed to support families in need of a neutral and comfortable environment. Sessions include toys, games, and kitchen access, with professional supervisors on hand. Notes are kept from each session, and reports are available if required. Sessions are £55 per hour.

The Refresh Project

Giving homes a fresh start — for free.

Working in partnership with Magenta Homes, The Refresh Project collects and rehomes high-quality furniture, soft furnishings, and small appliances to people who need them most — completely free of charge. Every item is checked and matched to individuals and families through trusted referrals. Because everyone deserves a safe, comfortable home.

Whistle Stop Café

A hidden gem by the beach.

Located in the beautiful Thurstaston Country Park, the Whistle Stop Café is the perfect spot to enjoy nature and a great coffee! With freshly made food, homemade cakes, and locally sourced ice cream, there’s plenty to enjoy. Best of all, every penny of profit goes back into supporting our community work — helping us offer free or low-cost sessions for local people.

Bee at the Farm Café

Great coffee and cake in a fantastic family setting.

Based at Tam O’Shanter Urban Farm in Bidston, Bee at the Farm Café is the perfect stop-off for visitors exploring the farm or heading out for a walk to Bidston Windmill. We serve delicious food, drinks, and cakes — and just like our other café, every purchase helps fund our community programmes.

“I just wanted to thank you for the support I received while I was with the Silverbacks. I am now training and volunteering, delivering ESOL. The social interaction and support from the group gave me confidence to achieve this”
