Whistle Stop Café
At a glance
Whistle Stop Café is open from 10AM to 4.30PM in Summer and 10AM until 3PM in Winter, and is operational seven days a week. You can find us inside the visitor centre. Improve your bird knowledge by spending time within the bird hide, sit inside to enjoy great coffee, tea and home made food, or sit outside to enjoy spectacular views across the Dee estuary.

The Whistle Stop Café is based in Thurstaston Country Park by the beautiful beach. There is the opportunity to enjoy long walks in nature before popping in for a coffee made from hand picked Honduran beans. We sell freshly made food, home-made cakes, and our ice cream is locally sourced. All profits made from the café help to run our community activities.

Whistle Stop Café is operated by Bee Wirral as a café for social good. All profits made are recycled into Bee Wirral CIC and used to support the delivery of a range of community activities. We are committed to delivering to the highest environmental standards that we can, to reflect our location within the first designated country park in Britain.
