About Bee Wirral

Established in 2013. Bee Wirral CIC is a lottery funded community centre, created to help bring a sense of community to Birkenhead. The organisation was called Birkenhead Early Excellence, which is where the name Bee comes from.

As the centre has grown through kind donations and having more friendly faces through the door, we have established ourselves as a place for people to book rooms for meetings, family contact sessions, courses, and social groups such as a local history group and a men's club.

We now operate out of 1 Berner Street in Birkenhead. As well as this we have an allotment in Birkenhead where our men's group Elemental meet.

We run a beautiful cafe in Thurstaston called The Whistle Stop Cafe, and we also operate Bee at the Farm Cafe At Tam O'Shanters farm on Boundary Road, Ch43 7PD.

Overall, we are excited to continue to develop our community centre as a hub for the local community to learn, grow, and enjoy a Place to Bee.
